This establishment is all around incredible and very valuable to the local community. I got an expertly executed polish on a pre owned watch that I did not purchase from them.. Despite coming in for just a service, they were extremely inviting which is not the case with all upscale/authorized stores. Burdeen’s has an expansive space, staffed with enthusiastic experts that make the experience relaxed and personal. They have very nice (custom) pieces at discount in a designated display that temps me every visit. Shout out to Michelle for inspiring this (honest) review, look forward to working with you guys in near future.

I went in because Panda (Jessica) let me know that there was a watch that came in today that was similar to the watch I’ve been looking for. While I didn’t end up buying that specific watch, I had a wonderful experience trying on different watches that I’ve only been able to see online. Watches are really different when you try them on! I would highly recommend getting an appointment with Panda!

My jeweler at Burdeen's is Traci Capp, and I highly recommend both her personally and Burdeen's in general. Today, I bought an Omega Speedmaster Professional steel-on-steel with sapphire front and caseback. When I called Traci, I had never bought anything from Burdeen's, but I was familiar with their reputation since I used to work across the street from their office in Buffalo Grove and I heard stories over the years. Traci negotiated and sold the deal 100% over the phone. I was completely honest with her: I preferred to buy the watch locally and I wasn't going to shop the price around to other ADs, but I was going to keep the grey-market price in mind, although I wasn't asking them to beat the price--it was for reference. Thus, we both, on the phone, put our cards face up on the table at the outset, she answered every question, and from there I just asked her "can you hold it for me? I can be there in about 20 minutes." And when I stepped in there, she had the whole thing already set aside and ready to go. I had a checklist of things to make sure I was getting what I intended, I needed to get the bracelet sized (their on-site watchmaker even wound the watch and set it to the second), and I was out of there in about 15 or 20 minutes. So. Traci is now the family jeweler, and Burdeen's is where I'll be expanding my watch collection in the future. This genuinely was a highly rewarding experience.

Amazing selection in this store. Even better service! Walked in as I had some issues with my Speedmaster’s bracelet and was taken care of quickly, even though the watch was not purchased there they took care of it complimentary. Definitely stop by for any of your watch needs!
